Delicious Strawberry Banana Kefir Smoothie

This smoothie is definitely one of my favorites because it is delicious, filling, and healthy.  It’s very quick and easy to make, so it’s the perfect on the go breakfast smoothie.  

It’s also nice to drink this about an hour before eating a meal in order to control hunger and prevent overeating.  I like to do this because I found it’s best to never be “starving”.  Almost every time I have overeaten, it has been because I was way too hungry.  But enough about my fulness philosophies, the bottom line is that the Strawberry Banana Kefir Smoothie is awesome.  One tip to make it even more awesome is to throw in a teaspoon of peanut butter in there.  You will not be disappointed!

  • 1 cup kefir
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey

Add all ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth
